They are both members of our family but Rooster, the Great Dane, is a housedog.

do you have to cut the ears as a puppy to get them to stand up???

This Great Dane, Rooster, has his natural born with ears.
They have not been cropped (the surgical amputation of about 1/2 the ears followed by taping to train them to stand)
