wiring harness for injector. mine did it about 5 months after i installed an edge juice with attitude. haha no biggie but she turned into a cummins at a stop light with tht sound haha i was like dude wtf? cost me abt 400$
I promise you it's the electrical connector going to the injector(1st on driver side usually) or number 7. you can probably take the connector off, clean it, and put some dielectric grease on it (this will only buy you a little time). guarantee its and electrical connector, some parts stores sell these connectors for a fraction of the dealers price.
you need to go to someone that has a obd2 scanner that will communicate with the LLY duramax and check the fuel return ratio. injectors are known problems on the early duramax. i stems from ball seat erosion. the fuel return will tell if the injectors are causing the problem. it sounds like you have a fuel knock and miss so that is where i would start
Start checkin the wires going to the injectors. They have had issues with them rubbin through or breaking. Worked on an 05 with the same problem. Hope ithis helps.
sounds like the GM 6.5 actually! hahaha
