  • In most cases when people get into marriage they believe theirs will be different and probably set an example to many. You can never cross the bridge until you are there. Let their believes carry the day but let them be advised that should need arise for counseling, it`s readily available with the right people. You learn each other in marriage hence the term `growth`. I believe there should be a plan B should the covenant turn to contract. You can`t die just coz it`s a covenant.

  • I agree with her on that one note, you can stay with someone for 15 years and never know them.

  • get a glass of water Misiko. So unprofessional!

  • not to be a party pooper or a converyer of the doom truth but the bible does say in the end times the institution of marriage would be forsaken by many read 1 Timothy 4:3.

  • she is speaking as a mother and it's all so true

  • There are a lot of couples that are happy and really enjoy their marriage. Unfortunately, the media tends to focus more on those (few) that are in crisis, perhaps most of the reporters are victims. Why cant they give us a break and give us something positive out of Kenya, at least for a change.

  • I'm not being hostile or anything. mbona kila saa it's women are gold diggers, men cheat. not all women r gold digger n not all men cheat. in the same light, not all marriages are in crisis.

    i am thankful everyday.

Kenyan journalists need to choose words wisely. wasema some or most n state according to who.

  • Owuora4710, I am sure she didn't mean it's an abomination to get married to an older man. There will be no explosion in marriage. Many young people today are afraid to get stuck in something they can't come out of so it might actually result in reduced and well-thought-out marriages.

  • Lol. Truphie, be thankful... stop being so hostile, if your marriage is a role model then be an example to those who are in crisis. I'm wondering why everyone is being nitpicky about this video; I thought it was pretty informative.

  • There is a lot of biases here. Why does Akeng'a talk of getting a young man? What message is she passing around. This discussion is good like marriage is a covenant not a contract. However, there is need to polish some sections. This is because very soon there is going to be a big explosion in marriage that is irreversible.
