During a reading at TWS Reading series at Take 5 cafe (429 Granville Street, Vancouver). Introduction by talented and beautiful Fiona Scott.

My art education came about as a result of unusual set of events which collided together while living in the holy city of Jerusalem. I started out as a logical young lady interested in math and physics and worked as a computer programmer. Living in Jerusalem provided many stresses including the unique experience of meeting people who think they are the messiah. When logical arguments failed to convince my husband to leave Jerusalem, I resorted to less noble means of persuasion. An elegant co-worker, unknowingly, changed the course of events by persuading me to view a famous work of art. "Take hold of your own life" the voice from the painting said inside my head. Once sanity comes into question, I learn to look at art work through a different lens.
