DID/MPD the Mom Series The Misunderstanding of Multiplicity is a channel that is shared by a multiple group diagnosed with MPD in 1986. This group co shares memory, time, space, experiences and life and lives well. It t was not always this way. There are still days that are a challenge and while outside of the "norm" experience or usual for the majority of masses , its really quite fluid and ordinary and healthy to accept who one has grown up with developed with and live to the best of health they can. This channel has been looking at media portrayals regarding Multiplicity and DID especially following The United States of Tara, a Series on Show time the last 3 years depicting a women diagnosed DID and how she , the group she lives with and family and others manage. This video is a quick mention about USOT S 3 Ep 10 which will be spoken of more later . Midway this video concentrates on ABUSE and a large amount of people really not understanding how a abused person develop and copes to survive and think of their world around them. The cycle of abuse begins with a child being conditioned or 'groomed' to believe what they are experiencing either is normal, their fault or did not happen at all. Abusers are very adapt at looking "ok" and having all appear almost too perfect. Abused children are loyal to their abusers especially if it is a Parent for who they depend on for basic needs,or Spouse. Usually once the abuser no longer in needed and the abused gets away from the abuser, safe they will recall what they have set aside in their mind as "their fault, never happening and so forth . The Casey Anthony case is spoken of here with mention that all abuse is alleged as well as murder of Caylee until proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Mention of Casey and abuse alleged by Casey 's defense of her father George is in this video only to give examples of my thoughts and frustrations of why abused kids do not talk nor do abused spouses and why they go along with the appearance all is well for, their Abusers reality become theirs because there has been so much talk by the legal annalists and Psyche folks about Survivors and the children of abuse. Questions of why and what would cause anyone to protect a abuser and or go along with lies and continue to lie allot even when caught in lies. There has been more and more talk of Casey having her own reality, world , imaginary freind , jobs and fugue states in grief and trauma and dissociation DID and Multiplicity has been mentioned so thoughts are shared here. I wish the best for the Anthony family and I wish more then anything that anyone abused will not doubt what they know is truly happening to them and tell somebody and get help safely~ Peace JA& Mosaics

it is dangerous. really hope that one day we can come out more. and i agree with your thoughts on us of tara. they were so on board with doing things and while as radical as they could be with certain things, they just took if off the chart and it was so sad to see. i sat and let episode 11 and 12 play but both of them i could not watch fully. i got half way through and was ignoring the rest.

@secretoompaa Hi agreed off rails, huge flip and even tho they ended the Season again Tara going off to get well and Love and understanding winning, just how much craziness truly bizarre were folks to take. Yeah I barely could look and walked away allot The Show just drew more attention to folks who disclose as CRAZY. I am very disgusted with it, some folks are still fighting to get Season 4 I say WHY? it could never recover or do any good now Amazing after all that expert"research":(

this was a great video, i found that it took a while for me to remember what had happened, and your right, there was always a threat, it is very sad whaat can happen to us. i have found a co existance is my safe place, i am not interested in theraapy until i can be what the "normal" population can understand it, even working with a therapist that is working towards my goals with me is difficult at times, i find most people really couldnt understand me really, even my siblings. its sad, they try

@yolandasplace Hi there Thank you, yes it is sad that many people do not see how memory can be halted with abuse. For meI always knew "of my life" but never felt connected to things that happened.I put it aside a long while too. Co existence is safe Therapy is still useful here , if for nothing else support , a objective opinion with some one that knows all our history I've come to the conclusion whats considered the normal,may never be grasped and agreed upon by some..onward we go! :)

kids do tell-nonverbally-i remember non-verbal threats such as being brought to the edge of roof of his office building-as a threat-i had repeated daily nightmare of fall/hitting the ground in pain- btw lets not say "when parent "having sex with "the child)- i believe its sex assault-or "performing oral sex"-itsbetter say "after being orally raped

kids DO always tell-but nothing is done except get beat up -1 woman i know got locked from 8yo - 12 years old in mental hospital/drugged out of her memories for telling her mom-the man had enormous power over mother/children-"if u tell ill hurt/kill your lil sister" etc- like in court case book "deadly silence"-judge blamed the victim for not telling-well she showed up at school w black eyes etc-all were terrified of the father-neighbors know that if child speaks they get "accidented"

kids do tell-like me not so much in words-but even when doctors know(but have no video of the event)-when kids belong to a couple(parents or foster/orphanages) 4 shelter/food or got hit,then there is no solution-telling does nothing-ive seen court cases in my support group where 2 sisters & 19 counts of assaults were not enuf to prove a rich educated man guilty- out of 100 victims-only 1 had her offender go to jail-2yrs-but hes unemployed alcoholic-he cd not buy judge/jury) prevention=matriarchy
