@YourTheBlame2 well yeah but this martial art isnt much for offense if a wrestler knows and sees there kicks takes him to the ground the capoeira fighter wont know what to do but that is true if the capoeria fighter knows what hes up against and defense himself he would after seeing an opening he would knock the wrestler out

Capoeria alone sure is pretty, but that's about it. Some good principals throughout the system. However, to rely on capoeria as primary self defense is asking to get knocked out.

People saying this is like dancing are totally right and should look into the interesting history of the art. Angolan slaves brought to Brazil created the martial art under the façade of being a dance, when they were really training themselves for rebellion.
