This is not a re-do of this cover!!! (though I would like to do one some day....) it is just a re-upload without the pretty video....
My old video was blocked because it had FF7AC in it... (I dont know why when there are so many FF7AC videos floating about youtube....)
Anyway, I decided to re-upload just the cover.... hmph....

This is a vocal cover of Tifa's Theme composed by Nobuo Uematsu. I wrote the lyrics and sang them to the piano version of Tifa's theme from ff7 advent children.

Background:
I've hadn't ever played FF7 before when I wrote the lyrics O.o. (I did just play it though ^.^ thanks to the playstation network thing) I did know a little bit about Tifa, so I based the lyrics off of what I know. (I tried to convey her longing to be loved, and also her protective and motherly aspects....) Having listened to the entire soundtrack, I have to say that this is one of my favorite songs in the game. I just want to clarify that I am not playing the piano in this (I'm not even close to being good enough to be able to play this correctly). I really wanted to write lyrics to this song and sing it because, as far as I know, there isn't really any one else who has done it, and it is such a beautiful song that I wanted to sing it so badly. I'm sorry, also, if you don't think that Nobuo Uematsu's music should be put to words, I respect that, but just disagree and move on, ok?

By the way, I constructed this video very quickly, so I'm sorry if there are any issues with sound etc. I used one unbroken recording of it, so I'm sorry if there are a couple mistakes.

Oh, and please, no "Tifa's hot" comments! That isn't the point of this video. Plus, she's ANIMATED!

EDIT: I just figured out how to remove some of the "white noise" from my sound files (the fuzzy noise). So I removed it and here is the link to the new mp3 w/out the fuzzyness

(though, warning you, this one has a little metallic-y noise thing... it's hard to explain. But in my opinion, its better than the fuzzyness)

Amazing and very peaceful. Tifa's theme is my favorite in the FF soundtrack.

I love the image of Tifa, cuz she's wearing original clothing from the title, as opposed to AC dress. Your lyrics are a nice attempt but this song would be really hard to put lyrics to in general. The melody says so much by itself, i don't feel lyrics are necessary. Same with other themes like Aeris' and One Winged Angel. But a good attempt nonetheless and great voice. :D
