@SkyPatronus112 go get a life okay and by the way you can have the best bond with the horse your riding and you can still fall and get injured if you don't believe me search horse falls in the search box on youtube
-
@horseluvr987 i agree but that is not always true i was grooming a racehorse named Marble Cliff and he spooked when i was grooming him but he didn't become dangerous he just shivered and backed up a few steps

who on earth see's a horse and just thinks ''Hmmm, I'm going to bring it home!'' ??

@SkyPatronus112 I don't care if you have the best bond in the world with your horse, a horse is a large flight animal. If they get scared by something, it doesn't matter if you're around or not, they will get dangerous really quickly. It's always the smart idea to wear a helmet on the ground.
I know that the horse was perfectly fine and bombproof, I'm pointing out in the movie, not out of character.
-
@horseluvr987 then you don't need to wear a helmet. The directors, I'm sure, weren't going to go through every single detail for the characters to be all perfect around horses.
-
@horseluvr987 That may be CHARACTER wise, but I'm saying the horse used in this movie was fine. And they wouldn't choose a horse that's not bombproof enough for a movie with a lot of stuff going on. And, actually not a lot of people wear helmets on the ground. I live in a city with A LOT of horse stables and people that ride. 95% of them don't wear helmets on the ground. Only barns that give lessons or have lesson programs make you wear a helmet. Once you've grown trustworthy of your horse...
Moondance: woah! a horse just jumped out infront of me!
horse: sorry, can't let you cross without the secret password.
