I have one question, why do you make a half circle instead of a full one? thanks

I make a half circle because when you ues 3D revolve it takes the object and literally revolves it in 3d space to create your 3d object. So, when you continually revolve a half circle it will create a sphere. If you revolve a circle you will have a circle with a pit in the middle. Go ahead and try it out, create a 3D object out of a circle, and rotate it in the 3D dialogue box and see what shape you get. Its really fun to tou around with different revolved shapes.
