I think that was Gary Burghoff driving the car. He went on to play Radar O'Reily in the movie and tv show M*A*S*H. The film is a little grainy but I think it was him.

Chrysler had the WORST commercials back then. They were my favorite cars, but they should have fired their ad agency.
