I love the guy working at the Hoover Dam, "if we all left right now the dam would keep producing energy today, tomorrow, next week, next month even a couple of years".

Makes me think, why the hell does he have a job??

yeah but running away from it isn't really necessary, if we put the money and effort that you suggested putting into getting off the planet into fixing our ways and weaning ourselves off of these things that we think are essential. people survived for thousands of years before we managed to extract all of these "essential" oils.

What would happen to the climate? Since there are no cars and other pollutants would the carbon levels of the earth go down? Thus cooling the earth? With these climate changes, what sort of weather would we expect? Also with an influx of vegetation wouldn't the atmosphere become more oxygenated leading to changes within the animals like in the past with huge creatures? Obviously an evolutionary change like this would take a long time.

and live where? Mars? cold as fk and 1/3 of our gravity? planets that would take us generations to reach which can or cannot be able to sustain us? instead of doing that it would be much easier to transform our Earth to make it healthier!

I can't wait for humans to just die. If the prediction is accurate, this world will become even more beautiful without our shitty inventions getting in the way of other animals.

The Voyager space probe that contains documents to do with Human culture etc. would still be around as well after 10,000 years (unless something awful happens to it along the way lol).

It will be long. At least 10 - 1000 years for food shortage, at least over 100,000 years left of water. And ifs won't change the Earth. Nothing will. Humans are too stupid at this point in evolution.
