I like this series. Our PBS channel only ran it once though, whereas they've shown "Keeping Up Appearances at least 10 times!

Thanks for posting, I remeber watching this series ,monday nights on C4 1985 I think.I read some time ago both actors were a bit ashamed of this as they were both in between `serious` acting jobs. In any case this show is very much underrated and got better with age.

Remember watching this rather dubiously when it came out - but there was somthing about it that kept you watching - and concsidering the heights that both Callow and Blethyn have gone on to - it must have been them!

Superb show, thank you for sharing. Callow and Blethyn go so well together - an unlikely couple on the surface, but the deeper you go the better it gets for them. I understand there were another 2 series - do you have them?
