Congressman Todd Akin joined colleagues in front of the U.S. Supreme Court to voice opposition to bring confessed terrorist KSM and four others to New York City for a criminal trial. Akin believes foreign terrorists engaged in war against the United States should be tried as war criminals before military commissions. 12/10/2009

  • end sex laws and you won't have these problems,,, huh?

  • "activities that involve violent or life-threatening acts that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State and appear to be intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping."

The US definition of terrorism establishes it as a CRIMINAL act.

  • So you want to hide the methods in which intelligence is gathered? Like torturing based on that the prisoners arent on US soil? I understand they are so called war criminals, but the judicial branches have already decided that places like guantanimo bay take advantage of a stupid technicality to justify inhumane actions which US citizens criticize the so called "Terrorists" for doing to our troops. We need to hear the truth about 9/11 and the war in Iraq and it cant be hidden in public court.
