@Viry595 This girl is from Afghanistan. The first pic was taken as a teen, the second some 20 odd years later. This country has known only war and tragedy for generations. So, if she's not looking happy on this particular day, maybe we should give her a break.

@Lovequalpeace This woman had a very rough life. She married young and had kids and was very poor. I do agree with you in that I see fear and anger too. Although, I do see beauty in her eyes as well.

In the young girls eyes.. I see FEAR and mistrust. In the SAME eyes as an older Woman I see LOATHING and disgust. Perhaps she thought the WEST would rescue her?.. no such luck, the killing and domination of Women is seen as a domestic issue.

@LeelaSavage She was abused, as are ALL women in AFGHANISTAN... educate yourself please. Plently of documentaries on youtube about abuse and denial of rights of Women in these countries. Yes, I know Women get abused in Western Countries, but we have access to the law.. THESE WOMEN DON'T.

@ethanmeeks No, its called abuse. I suggest you look up the plight of Women living in Islamic Communities. The suffering is horrific. When Nat Geo found her, they were actually amazed she was still alive. There are plenty of videos on you tube. Islamic religion hates Women, they are only there for breeding, beating and killing. Check it out. BTW, don't let these ISLAMIC bastards in your country. My mother fought for her freedom.. protect it for your daughters.

@LambieSinClair She got so Ugly, because Men see her as a Farm Animal. She works 15 hours a day... has to carry his endless brats in her womb and gets no medical help. She has no life except for servitude, oppression and constant obedience. She gets no time off, no wages, can't leave the house and gets beaten if she expresses an opinion. Most females in Afghanistan "Burn" themselves, than be subject to this constant abuse, under the guise of religion. Look it up, it's on you tube.
