As credit card companies face rising public anger, new regulation from Washington and a potential perfect storm of economic bad news, FRONTLINE correspondent Lowell Bergman (Secret History of the Credit Card, Black Money) examines the future of the massive consumer loan industry and its impact on a fragile national economy in The Card Game. A joint project with The New York Times, the film features industry insiders, lobbyists, politicians and consumer advocates as they square off over new regulation and the possible creation of a consumer finance protection agency.

'Some customers are confused'

They are not just confused, they are trapped by ruthless practices, set up to take money from vulnerable people & bankrupt them.

The lending base rate is almost zero -& yet they get away with charging up to 30% plus other additional charges.

She is so smug with her replies. People like that are evil & yet behave as if they are doing nothing wrong.

When did we get so passive as to allow these crooks to run our countries?

The young guy who's cancer was not covered by his "Health Insurance", & that caused the cascade of credit cards- credit rating - mortgage collapse - bankrupcy. So Intense.

Our health care system is barbaric.
