a useful trick to avoid the latency screwing you up when you are tracking is to record the drum part while listening to internal sounhds from the drum brain you are using... for example a td-8 or whatever.... then... after your midi performance is recorded... switch your track to trigger the sounds you need from dfh or whatever software lib you are using.... and you will have gotten thry the process with no latency distractions , and the only sacrifice is tracking with temporary drum sounds.

eXELENTE!!!

I like both. Toontrack seems a lot more active lately with putting out updates, and is more "e-drum" friendly so to speak.

id go with superior

That sounds great, one question adammazza wich one is better (best dynamics, response, sounds, louder) BFD or Superior ...... the thing is that i want to buy one of the two ..
great man :) is that a td-9 connected to SD2.0? i wanna do that to, but i've a few doubts:
1) after installing sd2 on computer and connect it to the drum module where will the output sound be? for example.. will i still put the headphones in the drum brain? or will i have to put them on the output jack of the computer?
2) The sound of the cymbals, is that fine?
sorry to bother you, thanks anyway!
Cheers!

@ruca10pe
1) All sounds will be generated by your computer. You can disable the sounds on the module.
2) Cymbals sounds good to me. You can get additional cymbals via expansion packs (SDXs)

I get ~4ms of latency. You will need a good audio interface to bring your latency down.
