For the base cleff notes, think of the spaces as [A]ll [C]ows [E]at [G]rass, and for the lines as [G]reat [B]ig [D]ogs [F]ight [A]nimals. Hope this helps with music in the base cleff notes, not the treble cleff notes. =]
