@twilightiefan13 Bertuccio raised Benedetto in Corsica.In the movie they didn't showed mme Villefort who poisoned the whole Villefort family.At Danglars' count opened an account anbounded with six million francs,not five.montecristo didn't meet Villfort with danglars,but Ciut saved his son and wife,and Vilefort came to count to say how hi is "thankful"not very warm words from vilefort!lSorry for my english,I can't help it...Will it be helpful?Sorry for all these messages...

@twilightiefan13 They talked in the garden of his formal house which he gave her as a present.He didn't show regret for losing her(int the film look at his face!),he is stronger,and Mercedes is crying and desperate.The end is also differnt:book-at the island of Montecristo,Haydee confesses her love to the count,and he is soooo happy and blissful.The count didn't come as a monk inbenedeto's cell,it was Bertuccio,count's servant,but not in disguise

There is no duel in the book,none:its true that morcerf came after albert/count duel to get the explications,then he offered a duel,just the two of them,but montecristo again said "I am Edmon Dantes..."and Morcerf was terrefied,went to his house and killed himself,while Mercedes and Albert were leaving the house.Count dindn't searched for Mercedes into her house,he already knew where she went.

@twilightiefan13 At the end starving to death danglars begged for life,not for freedom and said he was repenting for all,then montecristo came told him his true name,and forgave him.Vampa let him free.Haydee wasn't black,but beautiful Greek,she didn't know anything about his revenge,nor he ever came into her chambers like that,as he was her lover,he always regarded her as a child,his daughter.

@twilightiefan13 Danglars wanted Andrea bcs he thought he had much more money than Albert.Danglars didn;t kill himself,he fleed to Rome to take his last 5 million francs,but Luigi Vampa,italian bandit,a friend of montecristo,imprisoned him and slowly he took from him almost every penny,for buying food and drink only to survive.

@twilightiefan13 the count Bartolomeo cavalcanti("Andrea's father")to whom monte cristo gave a lot of money wasn't showed in the film.Vilefort wanted baron Franz D'Epinay to marry Valentine,and Danglars broke the engagements between Albert and Eugenie,because of Morcerf's past.
