Science missions like Cassini enhance cooperation between nations, and greatly contribute to scientific progress which benefits everyone.
War spending makes enemies, terrorizes & kills.
Despite having the most sophisticated and expensive defense in the world, the US could not stop 18 religious fanatics with box-cutters.
No one should ever bitch about science spending.
