Slow-motion replay of Ilya Kovalchuk (#71) and Vincent Lecavalier (#4) combining on a "no goal" for Ak Bars Kazan of the Russian Super League against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl during the NHL lockout year ('04-'05). Ilya Kovalchuk is at the top of the screen when the video starts. Kovalchuk is almost taken down, but manages to slide the puck along the front of the crease to Lecavalier, whose backhanded shot hits the crossbar. The puck falls to the ice behind Lokomotiv goalie Mark Lamothe. Kovalchuk sees the puck behind Lamothe and is able to chop at it with his stick as he's getting tripped up by Lamothe's skate, but the puck bounces away.
