Commonwealth states say momentum was growing towards a global climate deal, but nagging doubts remained over funding levels and degrees of commitment. Seeking to successfully tip the outcome of U.N. climate talks on December 7-18 in Copenhagen, the group of more than 50 nations from across the world made the climate change issue the centre piece of a three-day summit in Trinidad and Tobago. President Mwai Kibaki is one of the states men attending the three day conference.

Its about time we got out of the commonwealth, I see no use of it jsu at organisation to make the British feel superior. It is abt countries that were former British colonies like Kenya realised that this organisation serves no purpose, we are no longer part of the empire and we owe nothing to the queen and neither are we still her subjects.
