Madoff Investment securities [blmis] aid, mother of two, 49, charged in a Superseding Indictment with conspiracy, securities fraud, falsifying books and records of a broker-dealer, falsifying books and records of an investment adviser, and committing tax evasion. Crupi managed several accounts which reportedly had a cumulative balance of $900 million. JoAnn "Jodi" Crupi helped decide which accounts should be cashed out. Madoff, though, was arrested soon thereafter in March 2009, and the checks were seized before they could be distributed. Crupi was expected to be released sometime on Friday Nov. 19.
