You cannot reproduce this with CGI. Thats why movies were so good back then. It took months of hard work from special effects artists to do this stuff and it made movies scary as shit!!! CGI has put people like Tom Savini out of work and CGI fucking sucks!!!
Modern day CGI ruins the scary, gradual and more fun changes that would occur during any man-to-beast transformation scene. I wish movies makers would focus on pacing and the use of actual creative techniques (like this) to freak people out.
@iammach6 feverish pulsation, outstretching of muscles screaming out, cells dividing and multiplying. Guess you have to look at it like a throbbing palpitating wound but all over, however, during this process the body is growing and transforming and deforming into a new larger being/beast but within minutes which causes the transgression. This scene creeped me out as a kid though lol
The only things that have ever scared me in my life would have been anything sharp, or potentually dangerous around my neck or wrists. That guy, and his dang throbbing neck, made me freak out o.e
So she stood there and watch him change. Really 🏃🏃🏃
