This video is intended for those new to concealed carry. If you already have a permit and pistol, it won't reveal anything new to you. I wanted to discuss my thougthts on gun size and the compromises each one has. I'll discuss my thoughts based on when I was shopping for a concealed carry gun.
Whether you prefer a larger cailber and frame (like a FNP 45 / Colt 1911 ) or a medium size gun (like the Ruger SR9, Glock 17, or the FNP 9 ) or a smaller compact gun (like a Keltec, Ruger LCR, LCP, or Glock 26, Walther PPK / PPS ).

There isn't one size for everyone, so shop around and pick the size you'll carry everyday. Just keep in mind the compromises each one requires. Maybe you'll have the opportunity to shoot several and pick the best one for you.

  • i would recommend a g 27 over the 26, more firepower and it's the same gun....

  • @snumfalzumpa If the shooter can handle the more potent 40 caliber - sure! However, I know some that do better and are much more comfortable with a 9mm. So the 40 isn't an option for them.....

  • This is a great video for first time CCW owners. I'm going to be in the market for a concealed weapon and this was very helpful.

  • @600rrScionTc Good - that was my intention. Hope it provided some basic info to get you thinking. So start researching and try a few pistols if you can before buying.

  • @ryanishereyay123 Bad guys are everywhere - even in the UK as we've seen with the recent riots.

You never know what situation you'll be in. Having a CC license provides a person with the capability to protect their family and self. Hopefully you never need it, but in case you do, it should allow you to defend yourself and get assistance. Or it can help you defend another person if they are attacked by some bad guys.

  • @coolrunner4095 It works....
