How to change Splash Screen Boot Image on the Kenwood DDX-512 Headunit

I show in this video how to change the Splash Screen "Kenwood" to anything you want. It's actually really easy, people just don't know how to go about starting.

@danielramos16 The stereo at the time was $500. You can get them cheaper one however this model has been discontinued. They have similar models like the DDX318 for under $450. You could go on crutchfield but I would do some research. You'll find it for cheap.

I have the 318 and when i get to the setup mode to choose the image i want for the splash screen the head unit asks for a usb or a disc to load from, but it wont recognize my usb or cd...bummer!
