@amyotjulien I guess it's just safer to create music that ones heard before than it is to do something out of the ordinary, because there is a question of how many people are ready for something completely original. That, and where you would get such an idea. Plus, it also seems that people are strangely anal about "nonconformity" because plenty of people are shooting for that angle. Now, there is the question of whether the person's music or personality IS unique or just looking to be.
