To me, she's even better than past Chinese pageants due to her commoner appearance.

She doesn't conform to the bs "Eastern beauty" stereotype.

People find her pleasant-looking by instinct, and not due to some cultural preference or taste for the exotic.

Proof that deep down everyone has similar standard of beauty.
