Alton, was right on this one. I made this at home with canned blacked eyed peas, it was delicous. Let them dry in the refridgerator overnight, after you boil them in the veggies. It's a great snack, love the crunchiness of the peas.

the restaurant Relish where this item is sold at just closed Dec 31, 2010. I went last night for their last day open, and had some of the fried black eye peas. and cucumber lemonade. really tasty
