Cincinnati City Councilmember Roxanne Qualls was kind enough to serve as keynote speaker at the Aug. 11 Commercial Real Estate Women of Greater Cincinnati (CREW GC) luncheon. Her program was dubbed "The Time for Passenger Rail Has Come to Ohio," and helped delineate exactly what type of rail plans are apropos to stakeholders in Greater Cincinnati. In particular, Qualls shared her perspective on Ohio's 3C Passenger Rail Corridor plan, connecting Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati as part of President Obama's nationally-prioritized Chicago Hub Network. The 3C Corridor is a federally designated high-speed rail corridor, but has not seen passenger service since 1971. CREW GC would also like to extend a most sincere thank-you to American Structurepoint Inc. (www.Structurepoint.com) for sponsoring the event. Enjoy!
