I'm so glad that I have 1 witness. LOL! The rendition on the I BELIEVE album is very nice, but this version here really shows the power in her voice. It's almost like she started reflecting on things in her life as she reached the line, "I am looking forward to a home on high...."

Hi Rowoches This rendition is so beautiful but if you've ever heard Clyde Brown of The Cleveland Singers do this you'll never forget it. Don't know the name of the album but the group is wearing silver lame jackets and I think (L to R) it's Clyde, Odessa, James, Roger and Charles. Clyde also sings "He Made Them All" on the same album. Hopefully you'll come across it and be able to post for us to enjoy. Great channel and thanks always for the marvelous work you do. :)

She also recorded Doris' "God Spoke to Me," "Closer to Me," and "Lord Don't Move the Mountain," helping establish Doris Akers as that era's leading female composer of gospel songs.
