Hey, it's open source! If you don't like it, then make it better by developing for it! Your only alternative is to buy Adobe Illustrator for $600!

Hi. I've been thinking of getting this but I have a quick question.
Would this work well if I wanted to import a drawing I did to color it and Trace it to make the outline of it?

thanks watching this vid helped me a bit in progressing in inkscape. i MUST say though. how'd you outline your character with thicker lines without thickening the inside lines?!

@randomstuff1282 it's easy, I first draw the mouth in black. Then I draw the top teeth without worring about borders, I mean, draw the teeth bigger than mouth, and then duplicate the mouth and do a binary operation to get only the intersection.

that's path intersection, you draw the first path, mouth, then you draw the second path, teeth, then make a copy of the first one, ctr+d, select the second one and make ctrl+*, or in menu, path->intersection.
You need to duplicate the first path because intersection only leaves the "intersection". You want the intersection for teeth but you don't want to loose the mouth.

you need to select two, the mouth copy and the teeth. Use shift+click to select the second one.
