Former President Bill Clinton was asked by CBS News' Katie Couric whether or not he regrets enacting the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, which bans openly homosexual service members from serving in the U.S. military.

  • @passion8leader ....it`s called having to be "bi--partisan." As President, you sometimes HAVE to be bi-partisan or the entire policy you are trying to address, won`t have any chance at all. I`m gay and understand how it all works. Personally, President Clinton would rather just give gay people 100% rights, like everyone else has, but he HAD to play the GOP`s stupid game though. While President Clinton was in office, he kicked ass and the country was verybalanced, in every way. Good times!

  • @passion8leader i agree, im not american so i dont know for certain, but it seemed like that was the best option at the time considering the problems that had occured up until that point. But its good to know that society has progressed in the way that it has, although still a long way to go by far.

  • @passion8leader bills the faggot

  • I`m gay and I always understood exactly why he (we) had to settle for DADT at that time. I love Bill! :)

  • I actually think Clinton has a decent point about the congress, which is why lack of repeal under Obama would have been unacceptable and ridiculous. One of Obama's few, scant achievements is repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell and it wasn't even driven by him.

Those things said, Clinton should have fought harder on gay rights.

  • I admired Clinton as a president but for gays he sure hates them lot.

  • god i hate Geiko

  • "I did not have sex with Monica Lewinsky"

  • @Yuna0316 that and marriage wasnt christian to begin with..pagans held these rituals way before the church

  • can we all stop talking about how the opposers of DADT or doing it for religious reasons? It's been made clear that they oppose it for more visceral issues.

  • Funny, he said DADT was so great at the time!

  • @victimofrothschild You do not deserve a formal; moreover, you do not deserve a polite response to your sublimation that Bill Clinton is "brainwashed". America does not even have the technology to break against the moons gravitational pull around the earth to land on the surface of the moon. What makes you think that they have already developed the technology to control the complex and delicate electrical impulses within the human brain?

  • @Toesoup1 Marriage in America shouldn't have to be "sacred" calling it "sacred" is OBVIOUSLY referring to religious culture, mainly judeo-christian, which consider marriage a "sacred sacrament". There is supposed to be a SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE therefore, in America, marriage isn't something that HAS to be kept "sacred". It is merely something American Citizens should have the FREE RIGHT TO DO!

  • @victimofrothschild you're fucking retarded. mind control isn't possible you dumb ass! take college levels neurology and astrophysics courses before you allow the catholic church to corrupt your mind into thinking something that simply doesn't exist. You church people sound so fucking retarded to me when you start talking your nonsense. ppl with down syndrome sound way more sophisticated

  • @Toesoup1

As for your your attack on Fox News, every American news corporation is equally biased and bought out. Read "Manufacturing Consent" by Noam Chomsky. As for "religious nut" comment: the probably have a very limited association with religious people and all you see or read about them is on TV and Youtube. Don't believe everything you see, friend.

By reading these last few messages, you may be slightly more intelligent and informed. Probably not though.

  • @Toesoup1

But when you are talking about marriage-an instutition which has accrued its definition's significance and legitimacy over thousands of years-we are against extending that definition into something that is not marriage. We believe marriage is a sacred commitment between a man and woman. Not a man and his cat, a man and two women, or two women.

It is not discrimination to fall outside this definition. You can call your union whatever you want. But marriage is as it is.

  • @Toesoup1

Wow you are highly unintelligent. Right Winger's believe in limited government because they believe in low taxes, freedom, individual responsibility and the right to keep what you earn and not send it off to a corrupt federal government bought off by special interests.

We stand up for the dignity of all life and dont pick and choose when it counts-unlike you pro-abortion people. As for gays, we believe, again in freedom, and the freedom to live a gay lifestyle.

  • @DeanBendiz and if i ever met u, u better believe u wouldnt last u shit hole. ur a coward! as most name calling asses are.

  • @dorianstark dude, fags like you join the military for all the wrong reasons. they join the military so they can be surrounded by a bunch of men. take showers with a bunch of men, sleep near a bunch of men. they don't want to fight for their country.

  • @DeanBendiz lol- plan to get rid of gays in the military? HARDLY! it was a desperate act of cowards who were so insecure that they didnt want to know that some gay could actually save their life on the battlefront. truth be told, gys can woop ur fuckin ass and u cant stand it, u fuckin poor xcuse of a degenerate man.!!!!!! now head back to ur trailer park and fuck ur relative!

  • @DeanBendiz ATLEAST WE HAVE SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF YOU SICK PRICK! GO FUCK YOURSELF! I AM SICK OF UR IGNORANCE. IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET WITH THE PROGRAM. TAKE A BULLET TO THE BRAIN U PIECE OF SHIT! DO THE WORLD A FAVOR!

  • @EeJLP Father, Son & Holy Spirit. This is God. Three parts, yet One. Complete & whole.

God's plan has always been to reconcile man to himself. Jesus is his only Begotten Son, born of his own body. No greater Love could God show & prove to us was to send his Son to us to teach us all about himself. Jesus did all his Father did, Jesus spoke all he heard his Father say. Proving exactly who God is by dying for us.

Pray in the name of Jesus to the Father.
