Loop diuretics are the most indicated for heart failure, as they have the greatest effect - thiazides and carbonic anyhdrase inhibitors are weak, while Epithelial Sodium Channel Inhibitors like Amiloride only contribute 2% of the overall Sodium load - just as weak.

Excellent explanation. But, it takes some knowledge to understand well.

What is amazing is how the researchers were able to come up with this type of knowledge and then work out how to control it!
