Van Halen cover of Secrets from Diver Down by Moore/Jones MOJO

Van Halen cover of Secrets from the album Diver Down. We only did this as an homage to Edward Van Halen and the band with all original members. They were one of the best hard rock bands of all time but definitely of the 80's. The track features Ashley Moore on lead vocals, rhythm and lead guitar, Ryan Phillips on bass, and Sean Jones on drums. This was recorded using a Boss BR1600 with Audio Technica mics MB/DK4 on snare, 10" tom, and 14" floor tom, 20" kick. We used a Shure SM58 as an overhead because it's all we had. Ashley is doing a journal blog about our album project which can be seen at the link I provided. We recorded a few other covers of songs by Eddie Hinton, etc. but mostly we stuck to Ashley's originals which are great. I recently bought a Boss BR1600 so we can both record and share tracks back and forth. I live in Jacksonville so it's 7 hours to Ashley's place. we hope you enjoy the song and maybe Ed will see it and like it and let us play with them. I would go on tour with Van Halen. Who wouldn't?
