@durrrr13 Yes, he performs at the MGM Mirage for at least a couple more years (at the Terry Fator Theater, no less). It's a great show which I recommend. He's always trying out new songs and new puppets these days. So, no, his act never gets stale.

Etta James died today, Jan. 20, 2012, at the age of 73. She was a terrific blues singer in the tradition of Billie Holiday whose 1961 recording of "At Last" is the classic that Terry Fator sang in this audition through his puppet "Emma Taylor." and he did a remarkable immitation of the original recording. I have not been to Las Vegas in ten years but seeing Fator in person might be worth the trip.
