Fred Simmons (Danny R. McBride) is a small town Tae Kwon Do instructor, self-proclaimed "King of the Demo" which is a Tae Kwon Do demonstration. When he finds out that his only vulnerability, which is his wife Suzie (Mary Jane Bostic) is cheating on him, Simmons finds himself in a downward spiral. He then takes his frustration upon anyone that challenges him, being sure that this is his only way to keep his "power". He ends up losing his students and others' respect, but he finds allies in Julio (Spencer Moreno), his nine-year-old apprentice, and Henry, a student with confidence problems. When his best friend Mike (Jody Hill) comes to visit, the four make a pilgrimage to meet the greatest Martial Artist of all time, "The Truck," at a Tae Kwon Do convention. The trip ends up being successful, as they even convince "The Truck" to perform a demo at Fred's school. Renewed with inspiration, Fred comes home only to find Suzie back. Also "The Truck" flies in from Hollywood to perform at the school, all of this making Fred face the greatest test of his power which also helps him find strength within his own spirit.
