One of the empty hand forms of Gun Fu, as taught through the Olympia Iron Crane school of Gun Fu. Dancing Dragon was created by Grandmasters Archibeque and Mc Cabe in the late 1980's. In the final days of Grandmaster Archibeque's school, another form was being taught under the name Dancing Dragon, which focused far more on the "Tail of the Dragon" techniques and the techniques of the Dragon as an animal. This form represents the Dragon in its aspect of flowing like water through other animal fighting styles.

  • I thought he fell on accident and I almost started to crack up then he started doing moves again and I thought damnt

  • There is so much going on in this form that it is hard to grasp what is being done without watching it repeatedly. It is obviously not intended to be flowery and artsy like Kung Fu, or boxy and choppy like Karate; just deadly.

  • im sorry but some of dis was hilarious!!! i do karate and my sensei who isnt even a black belt doesnt even look this flimsy

  • jajaja asi o mas gordo

  • So different from avatar

  • to all people that complain about the video and saying that this is crappy:

1.mostly of you have not ever been in an martial art, this is called "kata" meaning form of combat or imaginary dance, why??? because even with all the moves he makes, he comes back at the original position at beginning, don't believe me? check it out.

2.it takes YEARS of practice to become a master of a martial art to perfect the moves, by this i mean giving the force, right position stance and fluency.

  • there's no way this guy's a black belt...

  • Sir, what is the name of your dojo? I train under sifu tom georgion.

  • @yamisdate I agree. His kicks only appear to be little jabs for most of the time, not actual attacks.

  • I feel like at times he's not extending his kick to its full power potential...

  • 36 people were Hospitalized by the Dancing Dragon technique

  • @cevune The art of Gun Fu was created by Grandmaster Archibeque in the sixties, he came 2nd only to Bruce Lee 'who beat him' The form on this vid looks sloppy to me as well, but movements don't have to be crisp on everything, or fluid for that matter. It's a combative art, and does away with most of the frilly movements you see in modern variations of wushu, karate, TKD and others. It is very rare that you'll ever find an art that is still true to its roots anymore 'unless you're ouside USA'
