Timing on freezing that enemy is tough, just keep trying. I'd give you some tips, but I suck at it too.

yeah i couldn't do it lol. i found there is a use for the colaspable grapple platform in the room b4 it. and what's the total for everything? i have 13 energy tanks, 200 missles, 50 super missles, and 50 power bombs.

i think i'm somwhere in the 90's but i'm not sure. i mean i know for a fact that i only need 1 more energy tank, but what about the others?

Let's see, if I remember correctly there are 14 energy tanks, 230 missiles, and you should have the rest (as long as you have all the items).

this super metroid is even better than prime one, so if you haven't played this one, get it, it's best game ever

This video almost put a tear in my eye at his splendid skill at this game. Mastering the wall jump takes practice but memorizing this game takes a crap load of practice. Good work!!! That was beautiful. I'll gladly see more of your videos!!!

lol, that's what I thought the first time watching this, but it can happened. I've tried the same thing and out of the many times trying, I've only done it once. Granted I used an emulator to constantly reload my save state, but it works. :P It's a very weird glitch indeed but it's awesome. :)
