Lama David Curtis, executive director of the Tibetan Language Institute, teaches the 30 consonants of the Tibetan Alphabet, the first lesson of the Level 1 Teleconference Course. Lama David's teaching style is enjoyable and easy to follow. The Tibetan Language Institute is dedicated to the preservation of Tibetan language and culture.
@buddhasknowbest @LocaMoca1212 No, Tibet is not free and is not doing well. China has put out propaganda saying Tibetans no longer love the Dalai Lama but it's so false, they revere him. His picture is banned, Tibetans promoting independence are arrested and subject to illegal treatment and even torture, the riot guards use extreme excessive force, the education is biased and doesn't teach Tibetan culture. Tibetan religion is not public now. This is a violation of human rights.

@traeus The first sentence has nothing to do with the other two, I had just thought it was like Kana until he started saying their sounds.

For a little while he had me thinking the Alphabet was like the Kana. It's a very different sounding alphabet. I don't know which is harder for me to master, though- this or hangeul.
