Rx-7 Racing Beat Rotor Muffler

88 10th AE RX-7 with a custom 3 inch turbo back ending with the the Racing Beat Rotor Shaped muffler. No cats or pre-silencers. Car is basically stock other than the exhaust, Greddy BOV, and a K&N Drop-in. Soon to come mods are Rtek 1.7, 750cc injectors, Block-off plates, and a full Cold Air Intake.


The car was warmed up before it was revved and was let cool down afterward.

im considering dual 2.5 on a cosmo only because i can put tips on that size do they scrape/ hang lower than a standard muffler?

performance gains?

yea with duals you can make them a step smaller than a single. I havent had issues with scraping but i am not lowered or anything. I have taken some pretty steep driveways though.

Definetly performance gains over stock probably comparable to any other straight through muffler.

The sound is sexy though

why convert from dual to single?

single is lighter and cheaper to have fabricated than dual. It is 3 inch from the turbo all the way back
