@Pippin76 Eric Idle is appropriately paired with the song "Here Comes The Sun" is that Eric Idle appeared on US TV Show Saturday Night Live (SNL) 2-Oct-1976, and repeatedly performed the song in a gruff exaggerated voice, and other cast members kept telling him to stop. It was all as a spoof of his friend George Harrison who had appeared on the show just two weeks earlier, and in keeping with The Rutles satire. Search for "Here Comes The Sun SNL Eric Idle" to see extract from the show.

@Pippin76 Members of The Beatles were sponsors of Python's movie "Life Of Brian" and they had liked each others. But for me most important is the fact that Eric and George was very good friends. And just love this song and Eric so... it's all from me ;p
