2010 Critical Issues Forum: Presque Isle High School - Presque Isle, Maine

Presque Isle High School's CIF Conference presentation focus on the progress the world has made towards nuclear nonproliferation and disarmament. Students look back on the history of nuclear weapons through videos of U.S. presidential speeches, discuss the effects of nuclear weapons on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the formation of the U.N. Atomic Energy Commission, the Baruch Plan, Atoms of Peace, the IAEA, and the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT).
