Neil Peart Drum solo Summerfest 2010

Neil Peart from the band Rush performs a drum solo at the Rush Time Machine Tour July 3rd, 2010 at the Marcus Amphitheater in Milwaukee, as part of the Summerfest music festival.

a couple of things:
1) I know the camera is shaky (and at times out of focus). This was filmed from the lawn section which is ridiculously far away. You try filming something with 10x optical zoom and have the picture stand still

2) I realize that the microphone on this thing isn't the best and misses many nuances of the performance. I'm no expert at capturing live video and this is put up here purely for enjoyment, so please enjoy and leave positive comments, thanks!

The camera wasn't that shaky and I thought the sound was great. Great Video!  Can't wait to see them on October 1 in Tampa, Florida!

Thanks! I just put those as disclaimers since I know a lot of people complain, but glad to hear it wasn't that bad. Have fun on their show in Florida, I'm sure they will rock as much as they did here :)

thanks for posting...I was bummed that I missed Rush at Summerfest this year ...Neil's solo themes haven't changed much in the past 5 years...classic/techno/big band rotation. He's still the best.
