Learn Japanese language! -- Part 1 of 2 -- Living in Japan Series In these two videos, I talk about the importance of making an effort to learn Japanese language. I present some reasons why foreigners residing in Japan should learn it. I also give some hints on how to start off with the language. People who are planning a move to Japan can also have an idea of how things work here.

wow, I never would have made that connection! the disaster thing, holy crap that makes so much sense. I know a lot since my wife is Japanese but it is a great suggestion to at least know things that will save your life when visiting a country that speaks a different language. you need to know things like "get out" "duck" theres a man with a gun over there" and "dont eat that, its poison" or "watch out for that falling piano!" and yes, I do konw most of those in Japanese, I visit in 30 days :-)
