Antarctica Orcas

Seemingly inhospitable to life, Antarctica is a desert made of ice. Yet, as Wild Chronicles host Boyd Matson discovers first hand, it is teeming with penguins, seals, whales, orcas and other animals that are adapted to Antarctic life. Here, it is the sea, not the barren landscape that is the source of life. And there is always enough food for those that know where to find it.

Orcas are the only magnificent sea creatures! What an awesome technique of catching its prey! It would be great if they could film underwater to see how the Orcas create a wave to knock the seals off!

A desert of ice is not contradictory. A desert is a place of low precipitation....ice is frozen water. Now if you said boiling ice, yes that is contradictory.

@TamilianPonnu From the view we get it looks like they swim at the ice and then turn just enough to avoid hitting it. I'd imagine the water capacity propelled by the force at which the orcas glide creates the wave. Not going to lie though, I'd like an underwater look at this too.

Jeez, cut of the fucking music!!!!

If i want to go to a concert i go to one, if I want to see and learn about nature I don't want to hear music unless it's extremely suddle.

i like the way seals move on land. so great xD. But on a more relevant note....orcas are so damn intelligent. makes me wonder if they know the difference between living in a place like sea world or living in the open ocean, even if they were born in captivity...
