  • Is this good for the engine when you burnout like this? I mean it is a 4WD with 50:50 Trans. but you block the front wheals... i think its no the best idea :-/

  • @mk24v It's fine, just simply throws all the power to the rear diff. This cars been like this for years. I sold it to my friend in Wellsboro, PA. It still runs and still drives with no issues. And its not 50:50 even when it is AWD.

  • please turn off the music. an impreza is all about speed and sound, and you cut it out.

  • @brianprime yea your right..the music blows..I was messin with it.. now its stuck

  • facelift front end on a MY95?

  • I'm trying to stick with the "stock" RS look. I'm thinking about the HKS lip for the front. There has been a lot more done to this car. I'm hooking up the front mount in February. Look on IAG Performance for this in the 2008 open house show. It had a 2007 WRX top mount and everything else was custom as far as exhaust, oil feed/return, etc.

  • stock subaru awd system on first gen imprezas and second gen legacys have power variation between the wheels depending on slip. unless the trans connections are modified, it puts most of the power to he front wheels unless there is more slip. though if 3 wheels slip, more power will be directed to the one wheel that isnt until grip is found. but yes locking the front wheels will transfer power to the back to get it moving with minimal damage to the trans, links and drivetrain

  • @mk24v 50/50 is on 4x4 only, subarus are awd which is more like 70 rear 30 front or even less at the front an more to rear!

  • @mk24v you are correct....except Subaru's are AWD.....that being said, unless he removed the front drive axles to that car prior to doing the burnout, doing what is seen in that video is certain death for any AWD subaru. The transfer case uses whats called a viscous coupling, which is not really ever meant to split the more 70/30 or 30/70. That burnout is similar to extream clutch riding...however it takes place inside the transmission.......lets not talk about the rear diff

  • @alittleodd20 with 5spds it's 50:50. automatic is something like 20:80 (rear:front)

  • @alittleodd20 with 5spds it's 50:50. automatic is something like 20:80 (rear:front), maybe 15:75?

  • these imprezas were sick in rally.

  • @alittleodd20 reupload?

  • I know i keep hearing music all i want to hear is the engine mang!
