250 volunteers came together on a Sunday afternoon in Sydney Town Hall for Australian Marriage Equality. The aim was to create a "mega-mob" video to show the statistics in support of marriage equality.

It's NAT!!! I'm not gay but it seems stupid not having gay marriage. People make the arguments that kids need a mother and father but orphans have no body and gay parents adopt them. I don't really care much what they do but considering Australia talks about what a great country they are they're kinda falling behind on that aspect!!

I am totally for gay marriage, but it's getting tired. Don't get me wrong, people should fight for what they believe in, but so many young people--especially where I'm from--think that they're so smart and knowledgeable when the only political stance they take is on gay marriage. But maybe I'm just bitter because the year Prop 8 was passed, everyone was so upset about it and I was the only one who was crying over a denied proposition that would have been a great contribution to national parks...

I am happy that 80% of young people want marriage equality in Australia. I am glad young people have been brought up knowing to be proud of who you are. In the future those people will be the people that vote and make decisions that we do today, and they will vote with there morals and not ours. it would be hard for the government to say no when 80% vote yes
