I grew up listening to this station and I remember hearing guns and roses being played on here along with Janet Jackson. I never thought this station would go away.

i remember WEZW FM 104 and as a child hearing MY SWEET LORD while going sleep thinking WHO IS THIS latter finding its george harison LOL

i also rremember hearing beatles GIRL on radio saying my 3 or 4 year bro listen to this sounds likee they are sniffing things (when the breath in and sigh ) LOL

i have tape of WKTI octoberfest w a German lady saying pronounced Fee kak Tee Ee sound was as bad as this CLASSIC i cleaned it up w computer put it on cd

All the stations in Milwaukee that I grew up with are gone now. Milwaukee radio sucks these days! PERIOD

This station got my juices flowing to get into radio. THank you rightman And Mueler (hope the spelling is right).

I remember the "great place on a grreat lake" Jingle set they used at the top of each hour. They beat the heck out of B97, Z95 (formerly 96-WZUU), Magic 96.5 (now WKLH), and WRKR (became WBZN)... even 89-WLS...Hands down.

WKTI hadmy first memories of a SONY walkman... First song I heard: "Africa" by Toto.

Wish I had old 80's recordings... but I don't. I loved KTI.
