The event we call Christmas is the celebration of one of the most important days in human history - the day Jesus Christ was born into the world. This was a day that prophets wrote about thousands of years before. This was a day to which the faithful looked forward, although they did not yet understand its details. This was a day in which God came in human form to redeem His people. Yet there was another important day coming. Thirty years after his birth, this Man would die. That the purpose for which Jesus came. He came to die for the sins of mankind. The story is not complete without His triumphal resurrection, His ascension, and His ascendancy as the King of kings and Lord of lords. In this video, you will gain a deeper appreciation for the significance of Christmas, the power of God, and the majesty of His dominion.

One day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We can do it now or we can wait until later but one way or another we will ALL do it. Praise God!

All hell is breaking loose in the Heavens, Jesus was NOT the Christ, Simon Magus IS the Christ -- this is the dark secret held in the vatican - Jesus was a reptilian. Some day soon the truth will be written, Christ fights in the heavens NOW against the powers and rulers of darkness in high places.

@rcasha "This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it." We do not celebrate traditions. We celebrate the Lord of Lords. No matter the date, every day was made by God and every man-made tradition was made only by man. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Nothing borrowed about that. All the things you listed are used by most, Christians or not. You're welcome to your traditions.

Christmas is the celebration of the victory of the sun god over darkness, as the days slowly start getting longer again. Its traditions are all based on fertility - with things like trees, mistletoe and holly (winter fruits), candles (light), wreaths, vines, fruits, yule logs (heat) etc. Christians are perfectly welcome to join in the celebration of course, but remember that it's borrowed.

I worked at a grocery store once, last Christmas there was a donation can for canned goods. It read "Merry x-mas" I immediately stopped what I was doing, grabbed some paper, and wrote Christ on it and taped it over the x. It was great to see people reaction while I was doing it. Merry CHRISTmas everyone!
