@2t22tornadosiren most federal rpm is 3450, thats the big sirens, sth, stl, sd-10, etc model 2 and thunderbolts should be around 5,000 rpm
-
Would be cool if they put model 2's on blowers like thunderbolts.
-
Also, I've only being used to the more compressor-related parts, like spiral-scrolls or pistons, being used in compressors.
Interesting.

Okay. Well, for some reason a lot of people have been calling that a compressor. It looks a bit like a compressor--maybe that's why. But then... where would the tank be, right? And the kind of blowers I've been used to were just fans.
I looked up, at the Wikipedia, "pump," as linked to from "Thunderbolt siren," and it does say there that this is just that, and doesn't compress air. That's weird to me, because I've always been used to those narrow air hoses as only being used with compressors.

They aren't compressors they are blowers. Big difference. The Thunderbolt blower doesn't compress anything. It just supplies a large volume of air.
-
Thunderbolts use compressors with their choppers.
Really, just model 2s? Hmm, too bad they didn't make Thunderbolts based more on model 5s, because I think model 5s scream way better!

So a Tbolt is basically a model 2 on steroids?? how do they make it sound like that?
